Anthony Uva

Chairman and Advisory Board Member

Anthony started his professional career at a broadcasting company. He then took that business experience to work at a college recruiting services organization that became the #1 recruiting service in the USA during the 1990’s. He has over 30 years in the college media and recruiting field.

In 2013, Anthony created a college information talk show, which he called Secrets of College Planning. Now after many years and over 200 shows later, and building a following that has grown to over 1 million around the world.

In 2016, Anthony started developing University Seekers which helps high school students navigate their way through the college process in both admissions and athletics. University Seekers have begun to rank in the college recruiting field.

In 2023, Anthony wrote a book called Secrets of College Planning for student athletes, How to play your sport at the school of your dreams. It sells on Amazon today.

Thomas Hennessy

Advisory Board Member

Tom is a seasoned finance executive with decades of experience in the sports media industry. After a 27+ year career with The Walt Disney Company, Tom retired in March 2024 from his role as Senior Vice President of Finance, ESPN. In this role, Tom oversaw all financial operations of ESPN's $17 billion global sports segment, including all networks and streaming services. Over his career, Tom established a track record of driving financial results, leading teams, and delivering cost efficiencies. Tom began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen, where he served several clients in the media industry. Tom holds a B.S. in Accounting from SUNY Buffalo (magna cum laude), and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Sean Hanrahan

Sean is an entrepreneurial senior executive with over 20 years of success at ESPN. Innovative change agent and creative marketer with a successful history of new product and service launches. Created and launched ESPN Creative Works, the first ever creative agency within a media company while also negotiating Marketing, Sales, and Sponsorship agreements of major media rights deals including the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and F1. Valued c-suite advisor adept at collaborating on long-term business planning, developing high-performance teams and delivering results that meet enterprise needs.

Chris Webb

Advisory Board Member

A native of Maine, Chris Webb’s career started in higher education as a college admissions counselor for his alma mater, Marist College (Poughkeepsie, NY). In addition to extensive recruitment travel and public presentations promoting the school, he served as the NCAA recruiting liaison for all of the college’s Div. 1 athletic programs. This entailed working with and supporting each of the school’s athletic programs with all recruiting activities for prospective student-athletes. In addition to his admissions counseling work, Chris also served as the volunteer assistant baseball coach for Marist, helping build and guide a team that would make an NCAA Regional Tournament.

Chris moved to Boston and migrated from higher ed into the corporate world for several years. He worked as an executive recruiter focused on supporting companies in the technology / software sector.

After a brief stint as a high school science teacher in Boston, Chris moved back to his home state of Maine and began his career in the independent school world, which he has been in for nearly 25 years. In his various roles in independent schools, he has served a program instructor, coach, director of admissions & financial aid, dorm family member, student advisor, engagement and advancement officer, and senior administrator.

Chris has worked at all-boys schools that have a strong history with prospective college athletes. He has worked with student-athletes at all levels of college athletics from club sports, to the three NCAA divisions (I,II, III). A number of his former students have also gone on to play professional sports.

Chris has presented at the local, state, and national level on topics that include college athletics, NCAA recruiting & eligibility, boys education, and the postgraduate (PG) year. He has served on re-accrediting teams for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), the Board of Directors of the Independent Schools of Northern New England (ISANNE), and he’s been active in his local area, serving on several community-based Boards.

Chris currently works at Avon Old Farms School where serves as the chief advancement officer and is a member of the senior administrative team. Chris lives on campus with his wife, Becci; their three children, Acadia, Anya, and Tiernan; and their Great Pyrenees, Nya.
